In She's the Man, I think that the movie relates to Shakespear's A Mid-Summer Night's Dream. This had mistaken identity, a love triangle, and star-crossed lovers. This highschool staged Shakespearean themed movie involves a girl, pretending she's her brother while she goes to a soccer summer camp. The guy that she loves, loves her sister which is really her, but shes pretending to be her brother. And many other love triangles within there.
In my comic strip, I used mistaken identity, and a love triangle in my plot. Pretty girl, Mildrid, and ugly hag, Jamie are in love with Prince Carter. Prince Carter loves Mildrid. But then a fairy decides to have some fun and makes Carter fall in love with Jamie. But then Mildrid kills Jamie and the fairy's magic is broken. And everything is lovely, except for the death of the beloved wench, Jamie. =]

Shakespeare
Right now, I am really excited to read Romeo and Juliet. Although I only saw the begining of A Midsummer Night's Dream, I feel more able to understand the dialect. It is pretty hard to understand them though. I really wish people would talk like that on a daily basis. The way that they talk, makes me want to listen. It's like when someone has a really cool accent, you just want them to keep talking. What I know of Romeo and Juliet is basically that they died tragically. That he pretended to be poisoned, she walked in, saw him poisoned and then killed herself. But I also know that this tragic love story is also more than just that. I'm really excited, I know that I will enjoy reading this book.
